Research Interests: Extra-Solar Planets (Exoplanets), Astrobiology, Optics, Spectroscopy, Applied Mathematics, Planetary Science (Mars, Jupiter and Saturn Moons, Asteroids), Astrophysics

Bio: I grew up in Hampstead, New Hampshire and have lived in Boston since 2007. My hobbies include long-distance running, golf, dining, skiing, and hiking. My varied research experience includes fuel cell research and infrared spectroscopy at Northeastern University, defense research and computational modeling at Draper Laboratory, optics and laser research at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), and outreach with the Experimental Space Plasma Group at UNH. I come to MIT to pursue a long-time interest in all things space, especially exploration and the search for life outside Earth.
